This helmet headset features two, wide-fidelity helmet speakers in stereo, a low-noise dynamic microphone and both the upper and lower sections of our 5-pin, straight-plug hook-up cord.
It is designed to be installed in most of the 3/4 (open face) style helmets available today.
It utilizes the industry standard 5-pin din plug and has been tuned for use with the following audio systems:

1980 and later Honda® and J&M 5-pin audio systems (GL1200-GL1500-GL1800)
1983 and later Yamaha®, Kawasaki® and Suzuki® 5-pin audio systems
1989-1997 Harley-Davidson® 5-pin audio systems
1988-2000 Honda® GL-1500 with J&M passenger controller

This new high performance J&M helmet headset has been designed to be installed into most open face (3/4) and some of the flip-front style helmets with large, deep ear pockets as part of their interior design.
It features two of our fidelity enhanced DynaPort® helmet speakers, the AeroMike® III miniature boom microphone, our universal clamp-on mounting system and the upper section (only) of our new economical right angle 8-pin, two-piece hook-up cord.
