CB 40 AM-FM CB RADIO for GL1800 
40-channel CB radio device especially developed for the GL1800.
To install the device it is not necessary to manipulate the existing electronics system in any way. The HF-module can be installed in one of the cases, and a 12 V providing connection with the ignition as well as an antenna connection is all that is needed.
The display unit may be mounted either on top of the container for brake fluid or on the container for clutch fluid. The connection box will be installed underneath the left storage compartment. It will also provide the connection with the intercom. The PTT button will be mounted above the clutch lever on the left side of the handlebars.
A single button for multiple functions provides the usage of this device. The adjustments are shown on an alphanumerical LCD-display. By pressing the multiple function button once, the device will be switched on. By pressing this button repeatedly, adjustments can be chosen and changed.
The channels (1-40), the volume in 30 steps, the “squelch” (noise stop) and the modulation of AM or FM for all 40 channels can be regulated. By pressing the multiple function button for longer than 3 seconds, the device will be switched off. All adjustments will be saved if the device is switched off.
It is easy and fast to install the device.
Furthermore, a CB-antenna is necessary. As an option, an external speaker may be connected to the device. A connection unit for the passenger are further accessories.

CB Radio Junction Box

Only the driver may listen and speak. The connection is independent from the adjustments of the intercom and the radio.

To connect a PMR, LPT or CB-radio with the intercom. Every radio with a standard microphone/ speaker outlet can be connected with this device. The delivery includes a waterproof sending button, which may be installed directly at the left handlebars. While sending or receiving the headset will be automatically forwarded to the radio device. The adjustments of the listening volume are made via the radio device. The Radio Junctionbox is easily combined with a mobile phone or a junction box for navigation systems.
Delivery includes: Radio juncctionbox, PTT button, cable set, installation Handbook. Please indicate GL model with purchase order

Driver and passenger may listen and speak. A second PTT button for the passenger can be installed. The intercom has to be switched on in order to use this device. Speaking and listening volume depend on the intercom adjustments

CB RADIO SET ALAN42
Small and efficient complete hand radio set, containing radio device and connection box for the intercom, 40 FM and AM channels each. The device contains ZZF and CEPT authorisation and may be used within Germany without registration and fee.
The device can be installed easily within the front storage compartment. As an option, a fastening for handle bars is available. The delivery includes a small BNC-flex-antenna, 2 batteries/ accumulators (1x6 and 1x8 mignon batteries), charging device, belt connection, carrying loop and protection cover. Therefore the device may as well be used as a standard hand radio.
